Alma RestaurantBrooklyn, New York, in progress

About the project
A 38-seat dining room built around a single material idea: blackened steel against warm plaster. Banquettes in oxidized bronze leather sit under a low, deliberately uneven ceiling, and the open kitchen is framed rather than hidden. The result reads closer to a workshop than a restaurant, with the room designed to feel used from the first night.
